Could be a bolt has caused it. Case placed on a bolt or threaded bar then something heavy placed on top and forgotton about for a year or two

This one is on the 'Bay now, together with the clutch cover I did. It's the practice and technique I am focusing on.
Even with all this kit it still does come down to spending a lot of time rubbing and grinding by hand. I have my doubts as to whether that is something people will pay for. Best just blast and return and let the owner put the time in.
If anyone has anything needs doing then PM me- please don't overhaul a set of carbs without getting them blasted as the results from that still impress me the most!
