I think that you could be very busy with that little lot. My old shot blaster used to work in a divers suit type thing with my truck up on a ramp, outside. What would elf and safety say about that now I wonder! mike

When do the workshops officially open?

Very good. If I am honest my only concern is the scarring - for example on the tops of the carbs. These should be polished quite smooth and then clear lacquered if OEM look is desired. So a question. Is it easy to get the look I'm talking about after this process? Hopefully so.
That said, there is no doubt that this tool clean items up amazingly.

The scarring is corrosion pitting and yes the vapour blasting process cannot hide this- it can't add missing material? You don't notice it so much on the main casting as it is pitted anyway and it's the expected finish from new.
So yes imperfections like this on smooth parts would have to be polished out afterwards. Or better still material removed first by dry blasting- which I cannot do until the next bit of equipment arrives. I will have a go at polishing that carb top on Monday and see how it looks.....

I wonder if my wife will get me one of these for Xmas to make up for our little mishap earlier in the month - wishful thinking methinks

Keep at it..... I think we may be able to recreate factory looking super dreams very soon (from all angles). Trial and error will also play a big part but it'll be worth it.

that is a good job Paul, those tops will polish up nicely I reckon with solvol, wire wool and a bit of elbow grease
