Was a bit moist out there in parts ! Though I decided I'd bought the bike to use , not preserve for its next owner .
Early days for the comparison with my CRF but it feels definitely stronger at the speeds I was doing today , the CRF has quite a tall top gear so in 6th with the wind behind you , going slightly downhill it feels quite good . Uphill into a headwind and it starts to slow down until you drop a gear or two and rev it , think the RE will hold its speed better. Having said that my CRF is a later 250 but friends with the 300s are not significantly better.
I'll report once I've done some miles .

A bit late to this thread, but I love the colour scheme and think the bike looks great overall, hope you enjoy it and trust we can get a meet set up in the early spring

To be honest it took me back to when I was 16 year old in Armisteads Motorcycles in Chesterfield when I bought a new Honda MB5 there was this guy picking up his Honda CB250 Superdream Deluxe he was smiling like a Cheshire Cat as I was with my new 50cc bike , I was smitten then with the Superdream and still am today , still can’t wait to get my Enfield it’ll be nice tucked up with my SD 🤟

We have a Royal Enfield showroom in Glasgow, I have been trying to get over for weeks now but between one thing and another just haven't managed it.
I have noticed on their website they don't have a Hunter in stock, all the other bikes but no HNTR.
I don't know why I am so curious about them but they seem to have such a look and appeal about them.
It would look like a 50cc if I sat on it, but when I get over I will take a pic of my Adonis shape on one....
Gee.

Excellent choice Sir !
Did you take it out for a test ride Paul ? Be interested in your thoughts on "performance" versus the 250N - been a few years since I sold my last one .

I'm probably too tall for mine , but it's surprisingly comfy and my knees go in the tank cut outs so I'm happy - it looks better when I'm not on it anyway !!

No I did’nt get a test run as they had’nt got a demo to be honest just went with my gut feeling , pick it up tomorrow and it’s 12 miles home , can’t wait to ride the thing apart from the salty roads

Enjoy the ride home and I'll look forward to your thoughts , you'll be using about 25% of the revs as you would on the SD .
