Pity all the testing was on 20-30mph city streets, but certainly looks good.

This just showed up in my recommended list, a far more man in the street type of review with motorway riding included. The bloke seems quite impressed, says it doesn't feel like he's thrashing it, I'd feel a lot happier with another 10 mph in reserve though. Be good if Enfield can oblige on that one, as it seems a widely held hope. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoNiUdTNfZI&ab_channel=GILLYBIKES

Well I've put a deposit down this morning for delivery of a Dapper grey one , should be with the dealer early December and I might be able to be patient enough to wait for a 2023 registration date ........but probably not . I've been waiting for one since I first heard of them - nearest I'll get to being that teenage enthusiast again !

Yep , there is still a lot of delays out there , a friend was waiting for a VW T6 , loads of electronics in it , half of which didn't work properly , he was given a replacement and that had the same issues . Theory is they had to substitute "equivalent" components which are not inter compatible , he's now getting a refund . So a delay may be the best option

Definitely interested now Go for it Ian Still love my 650s, but I know my joints are moaning about the weight. Hopefully I'll get a bit longer out of them, but I'm tempted to swap one of them for something a bit lighter. The Hunter's around SD weight, quite a bit less than the 650, but which one to get rid of......................

Good move.. shall be interested to hear how it stacks up against an SD as a yardstick. I'm very much of the same mind as Ian, in that weight is becoming an ever bigger concern as the years roll on and the joints get stiffer.

Thanks Willy ! I'll let you know how it goes , if its up to 250N "performance" with decent bottom end torque it'll do me , you wouldn't think it was too much to ask of a 40 year younger 350 ! Nothing else "out there" really attracts me atm , I had briefly considered the new Gold Star but bit bulky/heavy looking imo .

Dropped into 2 wheel centre at killington today no Hunter in stock yet - surprisingly they had an unregistered Bullet 350

There's also rumours of a Kawasaki Z400RS & a small capacity Triumph. The Z400RS seems to be just rumours so far, some indicating the current twin cylinder engine used in the Z400/Ninja 400 & some a 4 cylinder engine from the Japanese market ZX-4R. So far these seem to be just rumours, but there's some evidence of the Triumph including spy shots www.motorcyclenews.com/news/new-bikes/small-capacity-triumph-models/#:~:text=See%20more%20articles-,A%20very%20Bonnie%20baby%20Triumph%3A%20Exclusive%20spy%20shots%20reveal%20Triumph%27s,bikes%20is%20close%20to%20launch&text=At%20first%20glance%2C%20these%20spy,model%20in%20their%20T100%20family.

Congrats on your new acquisition .. She looks a real belter...like your choice of colour scheme, looking forward to your views and comments on handling, performance, build quality, and how you think it stacks up against a well sorted 250 SD..
