I think we all tend to avoid rain when on our older bikes and also ride at a slower paceš those tyres will look the part on your Beezer Nick.Another Dunlop tyre in the day 1976 ish was the Red Arrow,I put a pair on my Bonne back then they were described asā Bias belted, the nearest to a radial tyre you can getā looked nice with red linen and an arrow on side šš See you tonightš

I put my 1976 FS1e engine back together again, having cleaned the carb and repainted the casings. This engine has sat unused in my garage for about 12 years. The tank still needs cleaning so I used a little minimoto tank I have, filled it with 20-1 premix, kicked the engine over 3 times and it started and settled into a decent tick over. Hard to believe that an engine that was sitting that long started so easily and with so little fuss! I am officially amazed!

I fitted my new vice onto my bench the old one had broken in half (must have had a hairline crack in the cast iron or something ) it just fell apart with little provocation

Done and had done quite a bit today ,first up I got my new front tyre fitted so those nasty eleven year old tyres that were on have both gone up the garden to be turned into planters I've removed my gaiters and replaced them with proper dust seals (I thought they were a good idea when I fitted them but they were'nt ) I've also fitted these sexy exhaust kick-ups I got from Classic bikes of Redditch (BSA111 on ebay ) And I've swapped my boxes for my bags as well just for the variety Pity I did'nt get time to go anywhere ,maybe in the morning if it does'nt rain
