Since removing the tank on my BSA I've had an annoying 'seeping' petcock.....lovely smell in the garage it was causing but not ideal of course. Finally sorted the problem today using a new gasket and a lil bit of silicon sealer.

Spent the day battling with my back brake (the pivot pin was seized ) took me two hours of heating up and hammering ,the bugger would not budge so I dug out my 14lb hammer it shifted then ,new pin in and all greased up and back together ( no pics I'm afraid my camera needs new batteries )

well everybody out so left to my own devices, started to prep the paintwork on the little kawa kh125 found out it was silver under the blue so maybe a wolf in sheep's clothing.got fed up after the rear seat panel and one side panel,so fitted a bracket for the coil and ecu in the bsa a10 toolbox and removed all the filler on the lid and knocked all the dint's out and welded up some hole's that the filler was hiding .then my head was into the two broken studs in the casings on the honda cb77,got one out but needed to put a insert in the other one is down a dowel hole i think i may need to make a guide and get it on the pillar drill the problem you cannot see what you are drilling ,its all good fun

Picked up the repainted tank/side panels/seat cowl for my 750F.Metalflake paint correct colour but bit “blingier” than it should be as I requested had seat recovered too and will fit cast alloy wheels as soon as I get them refurbed put a new Delkevic 4-1 exhaust on last year and decided to keep that on.Logic being in the day I would always change things from standard to be different😁😁

Doing a job I have put off for a few days as for some reason I just wasn't looking forward to it......but today I started it. Probably not the best day, it's currently 90 degrees here and I am sweating like a pig on a pig roast. I removed the silencers just to make the job a bit easier, plus I did not want to damage them as they are new. One dropped spanner and you have an annoying dent !!!! These temperatures make even the smallest of jobs a lot harder. It'll be worth it in order to get that horrible tyre off and the rear wheel looking a lot nicer. Also a good chance to examine the rear brake shoes. Cup a coffee now then I'll crack on, hopefully the temps will come down as we head into the early evening.
