Certainly ruined the wife's toothbrush this time.....there ain't no way that this can be returned to the holder in the bathroom......will have to go get another.

Tyre (tire) fitter gave me a nice free gift today.....a number plate surround.....proper die cast chromed item, not a cheap plastic example....but there was a catch.

With the correct period tyre now fitted I am as happy as a pig in sugar....and I promise that I will not get my knee down on this machine with these old period style tyres (not silver).... Need to do some finishing touches tomorrow....I.E work on those spokes....

That looks realy nice Nick.I love those conical hubs,if I bought another Triumph twin it would have to have them on ( not that Iβm likely too lol π) The Old Dunlop K70s were ok as long as you didnβt get too enthusiastic lolππ

What was the catch Nick ,you forgot to say Apparently these little f@ckers were the problem, Tel.......he was calling them 'rim locks'.....said they should only ever be fitted to old dirt bikes.......and made the (tyre) harder to remove than what he was expecting......... My 67 Lightning had them too on the rear??? Think I may have been f@cked over for twice the labour......this is LA.

Put on to stop tyre moving and ripping your tube,pain in the arse to fit lol.ππ forgotten all about them not needed on modern wheels/rubber.

I put a set of cobras on the dyna last year Dave I had just put a set of Michelin tyres on the cb750 bib not get the chance to find out what they were like got tt100 on the trident good classic tyres but the back square of quick got about 500 miles left on the back before its shot a couple of trident riders call at a bike nigh near me and they have got Avon venoms fitted told me the tt100 are a low production run tyre not now made in the uk I know I will not be fitting them no more

TT100 was originally developed by Dunlop for the BSA/Triumph triples.I used Avon Roadrunners in the 70s.Avons suit my Harley better than others Iβve tried the original Dunlopβs were lethal in wet,not that us Harley riders venture out in wet lol.ππ
