So a couple of photos before and after (albeit the wrong way round)
Will be treating the old girl to a fresh coat once all the important things are covered off....

Hi Pete, Pretty sure its the low power version (German reg doc says K20 7500min), the engine is completely black.... Thank you for your offer, ive already done a little legwork and downloaded v55 forms etc, but Honda couldnt provide an EU COC so ill likley need a few details not included on the German V5....! If you have the German V5 equivalent then it is straight forward - you will not get it back from DVLA so copy it first You don’t need a CoC due to the age of the bike

That looks like the 400 that was on EBay a week or so ago I must say I was tempted but no room in the garage

It is indeed Pete, due to the sellers lack of interest his advert did not do the bike justice. After talking with him it turned out he was an rd350 nut (the reason for his trip to Germany)
My SD belonged to the deceased father of the RD350 owner, who also had no interest in the SD.
I aquired the bike for £600. Obviously im new to SD's but for an all but complete and running bike that mostly just needs cosmetic attention, I feel its worth every penny....

Good to have it confirmed by someone who knows!
Ive actually got the indicators, just missing the grab rails, apparently it had a top box with associated framework but it was not serviceable...
I tried to pm you Pete to enquire on the differences between the German and UK SD's, but it seems im either not aloud yet/ or am doing something wrong.
Would love to know when you get a minute...

Was having a look on German ebay earlier and noticed a few of the 27ps cb400 camshafts, got me wondering if mine had been changed.
Found the specs online and they are as follows-
27ps german 400 cam 34.5mm lobes 43bhp uk 400 cam 37mm lobes
Measured mine Pete following our discussion, and its the original...
Now im wondering if the valve clearances should still be 4 and 5 thou, mine were all tight before I adjusted them? 🤔

Exhaust 55 thou Must admit I just googled as have no manual yet. So 4/5 thou has been rounded up and down then.... Just to clarify if you would please Pete, is your manual german spec (did they do one?)....or uk?

I have a genuine Honda manual and the NB addendum plus an NC addendum - they were with the bike when I bought it
All the manuals are in the manuals section when you have 20 posts which you must be at now
The only difference on the low power engine is the cam
