Well mixed sucess Glass of in one bit but it has lifted completely the silvering on the reflector online safety picsHaving said that most of the silvering was already lifted from the reflector before I started I now have the headlamp on the German CB400 with a good reflector and the wrong glass - some more thought before I try and split that

Interesting experiment , nothing to lose and it worked out well . No Nails /Gripfix type stuff should hold it together ok I'd have thought ? Doesn't need to do much as the clips hold it together much as they used to with the older seperate parts .

gorilla glue is very good as well you could try it on a broken piece of glass and the old h/lamp to test it has all way stuck things for me

Silicone perhaps - used to glue aquarium glass panels together and easily separated again with a knife?
