Hello all,
Just picked up my first SD for restoration, its a black 82 400 Deluxe just in from Germany.
Its all there with matching numbers,2 owners and showing 39000km. After a quick carb clean, valve and chain adjustment its starting and running pretty well- big sigh of relief!
Years of garage life has taken its toll, covered in white over spray/ oil and who knows what else, but elbow grease is cutting through all of that well.
Will post some pics (once ive worked out how?)

I didnt think id need help so quickly, however have just discovered my first issue 😔
Which would be the best section please to enquire on the availability of a carb syncroniser screw....have just gone to balance my carbs and found the slot is no more, with half of it missing 🤨

Is yours a full power or low power 400 - is the rocker box cover black or silver - the Euro models have some subtle differences to the UK models
is it UK registered - if not I have been through the process so can give you some tips

Hi Pete,
Pretty sure its the low power version (German reg doc says K20 7500min), the engine is completely black....
Thank you for your offer, ive already done a little legwork and downloaded v55 forms etc, but Honda couldnt provide an EU COC so ill likley need a few details not included on the German V5....!
