Very nice 😊, (I've got some of those spiral front disks layed aside, I think they go well with the reverse comstars as well). Is the other one 500 or is it 750 as well?

The blue one is a USA import the grey one a UK bike. Not sure if any one knows, but I thing the grey one should have a grey colour frame, the blue one has a blue frame for sure, but my grey one has a black frame. If anyone knows for sure I would like to know.

Next up. 1986 vintage. Bon Jovi had one in the high times. now your talking, nice bike, not that my opinion matters its your money and your bike but I’d certainly make room in the garage for this.

Only one? One I photographed belonged to the young mans father in law who bought it new in USA I don’t think it had a blue frame,it has been restored though after it was given to him in a dog rough state, the young man owns a Lambretta restoration company

I reckon I can find out for you today. How’s that then? By studying CMSNL parts diagrams for this model and year and paying particular attention to Paint Codes. (Don't forget the frame is also a painted 'part'. ) It ain't hard if you know what you're looking for. I wish I did have a few stashed away these are nice bikes.

So I think what I have established with CTB so far using those diagrams is that the grey model (officially NH-110-MU colour code which is the Magnum Silver Metallic) may certainly have had a black frame from new, unlike the black and blue variants. Even though the colour code tells us the frame is NH-110-MU, the replacement cost was half the price of the other two which rings big alarm bells with me.
My thoughts now (and looking at Carl's NH-110-MU bike) is that Honda may have deemed this 'brighter' colour to look like overkill if the frame was also colour coded on this particular colour option.
I can't come up with anything more than that......thoughts?
