Why did Honda re-introduce a certain style of right hand side disc brake blanking plate on the CB250N-B model?
The part was actually first seen on the dream models 1977-78.
A few explanations verging on an essay will be very acceptable.

I'd always understood it was so that people spent time looking at it and wondering if it really was the same as fitted to the T to divert them from the severe lack of chrome on the chain adjusters at the other end . ............
