Now I'd expect Bojer to get this one.Never heard of an Armstrong thread,is there such a thing? No pressure then ! . I was heading down the Armstrong Whitworth route ( or dead end as it was !)

Ok , a multistage one this : 1. What German bike manufacturer has aeronautical origins ? 2. What Italian bike manufacturer has an aeronautical connection illustrated by its emblem ? 3. What British bike manufacturer originally made WW1 aircraft ? (not as easy) And due to the expected influx of answers and posters to thin them out a bit, a tie breaker , which Cambridgeshire village was the original home of the father of a partner in a well known motorcycle firm ?
