Has anyone ridden a bike over from N.I?
I've had one shipped over from there before but not got the train and ridden one back. Anyone?

Yes nice and something I've not owned before. A CBR600 but a 1992 model.

No a 1992. Jelly mould were 1987-1990 officially aka F-H to F-L models - I have a Jelly Mould in my collection again (see banger thread). This is an F-N model, DFS.

Tell him you'll pick it up in 5 or 6 weeks, Flybe Birmingham to Belfast City, Steam Packet Belfast to Douglas, just in time for the Classic TT, then Steam Packet to Liverpool & a blast down the M6 home. Sorted!

CBR1000 a bit too big and heavy for a wuss like me - never liked the look of them anyhow - always a bit podgy in appearance IMHO - always loved the CBR middle weights. Well, that is a lie - I hated all of the faired 'rubbish' back int day.....how times change. That said - I bet they serve a great purpose.

What I like about these 25+ year old sports bikes is you can use them on VMCC runs/events,upset a few old duffers on their old Velocettes etc. Lol

Could I do this one as a 'sicky' from work, though?
There seems to be around eight changes on the train up to Belfast......and that is just one way.......hmmmm...

Think I'd edit out the key number - think you can still get them cut mail order , don't want someone riding it away
