Araldite and lots of it , perhaps mixed with some old newspaper ? Before smoothing to a glass like finish and invisibly painting..... But back in the real world I'd think it'll need an alloy plate or similar behind any repair as it will be vulnerable to snapping off again , NOS the way forward , definitely easy

51000 miles on it,sounds really sweet and runs/pulls well. The original tank came with the bike, currently sorting some small holes out on it.The bike has been looked after to a degree, oil and water is clean, but frame has been brush painted and engine painted whilst in the frame. It passes the six foot rule but I may take it all apart and do it again.
Electrics have some "interesting" modifications.....:-)

Can you Adam and Eve it? Having looked through some old tax discs, the CBR languished in Banbury for a few years before heading to Hull. Banbury is just around the corner from me. Would certainly have saved Monday's sol aking to the b*llox at the M1 Services @ Doncaster (and further Well aint it a small world ?! I used to live in 'The Old School House' in Hanwell !!
