Joking aside......I asked after the other parts and she said they were already taken. Would not even show me - hidden behind a red curtain. So if you want to talk 'Ferrets' then yes we can. Behind the curtains for a very happy midlands man

May have to wait until tomorrow as I'm out in a bit - but will aim to get an update up later.
This bike must have had extremely low miles on or dismantled a long while back and parts stored.
Are both those pipes genuine or just the one? They look very nice indeed.

This bike must have been nicked and parts ferreted away from it in the 1980's. If it was accident damaged the wheels would have told the story - but they are mintville.
What other expo is there? I asked after the machine but the response was vague.

As the door opened at number 21 I was invited in by a lady called Cathy. The wheels were in the porch covered up with a tartan blanket.
I was slightly nervous that the wheels would not be up to standard and that the pictures I saw a few days earlier had tricked me. As I pulled off the blanket I gawped at the rear wheel for 45 seconds saying absolutely nothing. Cathy looked at me and said 'are you okay?'.

Cathy looked at me and said 'are you okay?'. The experience that followed was strange.......was kind of shaking and twisting in a 'Doctor Who' kind of experience. I thought to myself 'what is going on here'. I've never been one to touch drugs......yes I like the 'occasional' drink. But on this night I was stone cold sober. I pulled myself together and looked Cathy in the face......

Not wanting to open up the old 'rear brake arm' debate again as I sensed sensitivity on the subject the last time we discussed how they were.....let sleeping drive dogs lie.

Carl - more pics of your haul would be good as part of this thread. Is that fender mint or does it need a re-chrome? Same for the silencers......furnish us with more pics if you would please.
