This story begins in a place called Colnbrook at exactly 6:18pm last night - the 25th October 2016. And it's quite topical because this was the very day that our current government agreed a plan to extend the capacity of an airport near to this - an airport called Heathrow.  |

As I pull into the random crescent in Colnbrook and park the car on Tuesday night I spot the landing lights of a huge passenger jet coming in. As it draws nearer, it cuts the unique shape of an A380 against the darkness and clouds - still amazes me the size of those things and how they manage to get airborne.
Anyway, I walk down the path to number 21 and ring the doorbell. I don't actually 'hear' the bell so am wondering if I am heard. As I am about to knock, I notice movement in the hallway through the frosted glass panel.
