Odd as it is, I don't share the same admiration for the black 10 plate bandit above. I'm sure it's a wonderfully built and above all fast machine - but it has nothing about it that draws me to Bandits. I'm into the carbed bikes.
Regarding Listey's suggestion to get a 1200, I have been looking more and more at MK1 and MK2's which are the versions that I love. Looking at completed ebay listings, there do seem to be some low mileage examples out there for around the £2500 mark. Hmm, maybe one day.

Will do, I've decided I need something bigger and a bit more reliable, want to go further afield, got me eye on a few different bikes, I'll know when it's right.

Its so silky smooth, and handles a dream.I follow cyclists on it, with no bother at all. Or it will eat most things in the car department, and a few bikes to boot. But not as fast as the zx7r. Saying that I have not yet checked the front sprocket, as it does go quick up to 3.5K, like a kick in the pants. First ride out I was not paying attention and it wheeled in 2nd gear and the rear spat out, nearly kicked me off lol.

As I said Chris - I have no doubt about its prowess. But it's a personal thing re: the looks.
Some people will look at it and drool.

Yer I do..lol But still like the MK1. Love the clocks, tank shape, the fact that you can polish loads on it. Like them in red.

I don't know anything about Bandits, but that looks very nice - and 14k & 1200 quid? Sounds good. And it's got a rear rack!

Personally not a fan of the faired models myself but that looks in great shape, Fordster.
Yours?

The one for £1.200 and 14k miles was a crock of shit, this one has just under 15k on the clock, on a Y plate and was £1,500 with the rack left on. It's from your neck of the woods in Broadway Fungo, and is absolutely mint.
And yes, it has my name all over it.

What do you reckon? Looks like a very straight clean bike, For my money I'd Have The naked version. But if you travel any distance that's the best option. needs a bit of polishing

Very nice.
Let me know when you intend to collect - you can always pop by my place for a brew mate - I think you know that.

Just look at the paintwork on this. A definite three stage colour (silver base coat). Suzuki Y3H if I'm not mistaken? Hmm....
