should not have done it but I have!
1980 red 250 was what I collected on my 17th birthday back in 1982. Passed test before the law forced you onto a 125.
It ended up buried in the front of a Nissan before I was 19' not my fault though as car driver was convicted in court for it.
fast forward 18 years later when having some spare cash I bought a 92 fire blade RRP. An extreme jump and time gap!
Jump to yesterday and a combination of being on holiday and nostalger has seen me bid and win a 81 red 400...
collection in a weeks time. Am told that timing rattles when cold. Easy fix?
still have the fireblade

Welcome along mate, rattle could be cam chain needing tensioning or at worst replacing neither are hard jobs.

I think my silver 250 is sooo farst because of all cheapo pattern parts I have on it , their lighter due to poor build quality .....

Hi & welcome to the forum. That looks a nice bike, but don't pay any attention to stuff about red one's being the fastest, it's well known black one's go quickest, so you'd better hang on to the fireblade!  |
