Yes, it bolts the brake line to the caliper at one end & the master cylinder at the other end. Has a hole up the middle & another cross drilled through it in the middle of the unthreaded part. If you do a search on ebay, a few people do them, but they look short like the wemoto one I got.

Don't forget to smear smidge of copperslip on stainless threads,made stainless nipples for me Hardley with bigger AF hex much better than originals.

I've taken one from my 400N caliper & one from the master cylinder & they look the same. I also pulled one off my 250NB caliper & that's the same. Maybe I could send one to to Wazzbo to check against his 79 caliper to see if there's any difference there - what do you think, Dave?

My 250n one is 7mm and its the same one listed for the 81 250 on cmsnl site, the 400 na one is 8mm and is the same on the other 400's with the nissin calipers ian.

7mm thread in the bleed nipple hole,the hexagon is too small/too soft material rendering the factory spec item useless.

My 250n one is 7mm and its the same one listed for thememe 81 250 on cmsnl site, the 400 na one is 8mm and is the same on the other 300's with the nissin calipers ian. Sorry, Dave, I was meaning the banjo bolt, wondered if that was different too. |

On the 400 the banjo bolt on the right side of the splitter is longer than the others as it has the the master cylinder banjo and the offside banjo fitted together, separated by a sealing washer .

Ah, I've never taken mine apart. I'll take them off the N project bike & include the longer one in the samples I send to Steve. In the meantime, here's one from my 400N caliper. It's M10 x 27mm with a 1.25 thread. The 400N master cylinder and the 250NB caliper are the same - is your early 250 caliper with the 7mm bleed screw the same?   |

I`ve not measured them Ian, the caliper banjo bolts for the 250n and the 400na have the same part number so I assume they are the same.

thats great ian, the master cylinder banjo is no longer available Ian, its a different part number to the others so if steve is able to make then it will be brilliant.
