So just to sum up..
time frame = ok , got it done by start of spring (revised )
budget = SHOT (£300 over spent but not too bad)
headache value = 7 /10
achievement value = 9/10 (had to rope in a mate to help with carbs )
gratitude factor 10/10 (thanks to all of you for the support and advice )
smile factor = 11 / 10
I am now taxed , mot'd and insured all I need now is the weather.

Congrats Andy, its a good feeling when it passes.
Both my VFR and SD passed with only a few minor advisories on the VFR which had been standing for nearly 2 yrs!!
Now all I need to do is ride them, the SD is taxed and I have a riders policy which allows me up to 6 bikes so in theory there's no holding me back, just the weather.
Get out and show off you handy work and collect some admiring glances and jealous looks from non SD riders!!

It's great the amount of pleasure one little piece of paper can bring Andy and where did you get you coil from ,I noticed Silvers have a new design on (looks very much like the original) wondered if it was one of those

I'm glad my MOT man is quite lenient.
Chat to him about his Harley and he would pass anything.......well providing it wasn't stolen.
