Hello to you all,I have just joined this forum,I am a member on the other forum aswell so I may well have spoken to some of you regarding my ongoing project ; a 1983 cb250n super dream deluxe in silver ( the best colour ) I will add some photos for those of you that haven't seen the bike.

the other forum has proved to be really helpful,spoke to some really helpful people,which has enabled me to transform my £150 been in the garden under a sheet for 28 years rusted and seized 250 into a nearly completed bike,fingers crossed WILL be mot'd and on the road for spring.

Welcome Andy I like the way you have chemically peeled the chrome of that mudguard ready for replating And the see through collector box is genius :)Looking forward to seeing some more pics. |

to be honest I bought the bike blind,it has been a complete restoration from the frame up,the bill is now at £1300,due to an extra coat of paint as the first set of decals were crap,collector box that didn't fit,bent down pipe that i had chromed and various other adjustments needed that only came to light as I worked through.

That bike is really looking the part now well done Andy which part of the black country are you from Andy anywhere near Shrub ( Nuneaton)
