fungo, do they have the same little main jet/pilot jet rubber bungs inside as the superdream, recently took apart a set of carbs for a '85 suzuki gsxe 1135 and it had the same, just wondering. Not forgotten Dave.....
One night this week will get a bowl off and show you a picture of the gubbins in there...
Just been flat out this weekend with family stuff......sorry for the delay my mate.

I got 10 litres of 3-4 year old petrol on Monday off a member of the local bikers forum. He'd drained his bike which had been sitting for a few years and the petrol appeared have bits floating in it, like it had separated and he was asking how to dispose off it. I said I would take it and after running it through a filter I've been using it in the Superdream all week. I just mixed it with some 2T petrol mix I had in the petrol cans as I need them empty. No running issues with it!

Just read something interesting in PSB.
Apparently super unleaded contains no ethanol or very little.

That's why I run all my bikes on it nick, but I read somewhere that in certain areas even that has it added.

Not sure if its my imagination but the bikes seem to run better on it as well, maybe the higher octane rating helps.

There is a new. Shell garage recently opened a couple of miles away that sells Vpower but I haven't tried that yet.

Just had more of a read around on the net and some still believe there is also 5% ethanol in the Super unleadeds.
It really is difficult knowing who to believe.
Aspen is possibly the only way forward.

Aspen definitely for the winter layup. Worked out it costs £19.60 more to brim the SD tanks with Aspen than normal fuel.
£20 a winter to make sure the bike still goes in the Spring, cheaper than a carb kit/ultrasound/time, etc....
