to be honest it looks familier, the only name i can think of is krooklock, i had one that fitted inside the
steering wheel.

But I think the krook lock was the yellow job that slipped over the gear stick and handbrake.......in fact, the one that thieves removed from my mates XR2 in the early nineties by simply unscrewing the gear knob......oh happy days....

Unsure if they were any good.
Car theft in the nineties was rife......I remember the firm I worked for had many Montego's nicked......I think they must have been very easy to steal.

i did have the rover montego, i must admit i loved driving that car. rust got the better of it.

The firm I worked for from 90-94 always bought 'em.
I remember one of them was rusting around the back window within 6 months......
Nice drive for a 17 year old (at the time) though......even got flashed by a speed camera. One was a pool car. Did I end up taking the points? NO...

another car i used to own, i had the 1500cc hillman avenger saloon, then i had the hillman avenger estate 1300cc, both were good cars, until rust took hold.

Remembered later - the Anglia was a 105E. So what was the 107E? Think it was the 1200cc version. Although in the 70s, my mates stuck Cortina 1500GT engines in them, with wide wheels, Saphire Blue metallic paint & a mat black bonnet!
