Silver 250 Jon....
It's a bit of a ball ache with the timing as I can only get down the test centre on a Sat morning at the minute but I'm in Hereford on a stag do next weekend. Will probably have to pay again........drat.
The chain is not loose just worn..... I will replace the sprockets as well.

I would have thought that if you take the bike down to mot station they would just check the chain and then issue a ticket rather than do whole mot again? so should be fairly quick?

Yeah I know but I need to get down there again and time is an issue - I work quite far away Monday to Friday.
I'll sort it....it's just a bit of a ball ache as I say.

Plus I need to get hold of a 530 41T genuine rear sprocket and the only place I can find one is in Filderstadt... (Germany).

Anybody you know to take it for you? No. A) I don't trust anyone riding my bikes. b) I don't have many friends.

Yeah could do......
But at least if I do the whole shebang I know it's done and won't need any attention for a long time in the future. I suspect these are the originals......

what i meant was just do the chain for the mot then put new sprockets on later, thus only costing one mot charge?

Good thinking but the only time I could get it back down there would be next weekend to avoid paying again but I'm away on a stag do.
I guess I could throw a sickie in the week..... Hmm....
