well last week went my to brothers and thought i would check my bike, first time in ages, to my horror i noticed the two rear indicators
were broken off, and of course no one has done it, mirror as a damaged thread where its been twisted, what other damage there is will have to wait and see, i get it back this weekend
i have a courier picking it up saturday morning, its going to my sons garage this time, so i will have some work to do, if you see some rear indicators left and right going
for sale please let me know before i start searching.

change of plan, it will now be 4.00pm, because of the M40 and M6 problems. And by what time will it be started up and you indulging listening to the pur of the engine it has not been started in a while pete, show rocker cover off, plugs out, and turn the back wheel when in gear, make sure the tappets are opening and closing, then oil and filter change mate.

what oil do we use these days, used to use silkolene 10W/40, is there any better?

what oil do we use these days, used to use silkolene 10W/40, is there any better? my bikes I run on 10w/40 semi synthetic. I always have a quick gander at the code on the oil. it should begin with API (which I think is for application) but basically means it not recycled, then there should be some letters (something like cc/cd) then a further letter and this is the one that makes me buy it or leave it on the shelf, this letter is the quality rating, personally speaking I consider an f to be fail, so any oil rated g or above should be decent stuff

bike is now back safe and sound, now need to start checking it over, oil filter already ordered, will get the oil this week.
