Yamaha SR125....dirty dark metallic green....owned by a traning school in Reading, Berks.......star ship miles.
Did a weeks intensive......Oct/Nov 1996.....no pics. Wet times............had a soggy arse all week....but a first time pass even though my foot went down. He must have liked me.
Even locked it up on the Em Stop (nerves).

Kawasaki KC100 companion in black with a silver chain guard, it felt super fast after twelve months riding my DT50 (16 yrs old) got the KC for my 17th birthday and passed my test on it 3 months later, then guess what. My first Superdream AVT 80T in the best colour 👌

Sorry mate.....just re-read the thread title. I never owned it. It was lent to me for a week by a training school in Reading......Oxford Road, can't remember their name. I never owned a bike at the time but as soon as I passed my bike test, I went and bought a knacker of a black CB250N-A from a guy in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.....it served me well and continued to have me hooked on the SD.......I got SBY (my black 400) the year afterwards.

What jacket was that Pete? The photo was taken on the way back from the bike show at the NEC. I was stopping at my brothers for the weekend at RAF Cottesmore I think. The jacket must have been his so I am not sure The side pannier you can see was on his F reg Starfire
