Michelin claim to be the manufacturer that first put radials on a road bike in 1984 but Pirelli claim they were earlier,so I'd think racing tyres were earlier 1983 with Freddie Spencer?

Freddie Spencer won the 83 500 title using a rear radial tyre but it was Randy Mamola the following year who first won a race using both front and rear radial tyres

not today dave not even fit for ducks over here today but I was on it yesterday it was the first ride out on it since my big 60 hrs deep clean and I was dodging everything that looked mucky on the roads and I treated myself to a new RST jacket and a pair of gloves

it was indeed the Fn single cylinder machine of 1902 and it was 1908 first TT over to you bikeman
