It does seem that the Superdream fraternity are not the keenest on meets. So why don't we arrange a mini 'show'? Nothing expensive, glitzy or glamorous (because again, that does not seem to be your average Superdreamer) .......but perhaps an indoor venue like a village hall or something similar for a Saturday or Sunday to put all our Superdreams on show - and chew over the fat of course. All Superdreams in any condition from nail to stunner would be welcome. I would bring three of mine - the deluxe, 400NA and my wrecker of a kicker - all three bikes are something in their own right - and I'm sure all three would draw a bit of interest for differing reasons. Could I have some thoughts on this notion please?

Depending on distance I would attend with only 1 Superdream as I cannot transport any more as I have to ride it to any show

Good idea if sited in fairly central area to reach by club members, cost of insurance for this type of event could be high? Maybe you have a venue in mind FB?

Interesting concept, who do you think would come to view the bikes or would it mainly be a forum thing?

If only Superdreams on show, let's be honest very few would be interested but include all "classic" bikes or maybe just Japanese "classics" a better idea could be a reality but then there are many such events on during summer.Single marque/model events tend to be bit cliquey and put folk off joining in

If we can get a few folk on the ride outs, well have a ride up to Whitby and park on the cliff top somewhere while we have a brew, it'll be a mini show, with the bikes parked in a row there are plenty of people will see us there and it won't cost us owt, that makes a Yorkshire man very happy.lol

Methinks if we can't get people to bring their bikes out for a ride or meetup then a show is pretty remote.....

Thing is.....there is a band of peeps that are scared to ride out..so a guaranteed 'cover' from the Brit weather may be the way to go.
For example, would you ride your red 250N to a meet? I really don't think so.

Yeah but it is time to face facts Dave....
You restored that bike....and will restore it again and again if need be.

I certainly would Nick, whenever you use something it starts to wear and deteriorate, but I think you should still use it, and get pleasure out of it. keep it maintained to a good standard and it will be a good while before it needs major work on it. When you're getting on a bit it'll only have to last so long anyway.lol

Look, all politics aside......are we interested in an 'undercover' meet?
Yes or no?
