Had to have been USA inspired- they liked the single disks. That's a heavy bike it must have taken the next 10 years to stop it!
Nice looking classic though...

Thanks for explaining where Morris Oil comes from and the history behind it. It was just that I had never come across it before.

Don't remember the anniversary model thought it was an F2 with the Comstars, was the fairing standard ? It was imported from the States with a Vetter fairing ( of Craig Vetter fame - Google him!) The Ten years was for ten years of the CB750. It had special insignia on the panels and an anniversary plaque on the tank. All candy paintwork and gold coachlining. Gorgeous! Mike

No need to google Mr.Vetter,he designed the beautiful Hurricane triple for BSA (badged as a Triumph when it went into production)

It's for sale in Dublin in a spray tin like WD40, it's made in the UK. I prefer it than WD40 as it is more oily and stays on longer, also I think is less of penetrating oil and more of a protector oil than WD40. I like the brand as it reminds me of Morris Minor cars but I don't know if there is any connection with, I think Ford now owns British Leyland who owned the Morris brand name.
British Leyland as a group was broken up and sold to different companies years ago,Leyland exists as a brand in Asia/Africa making trucks and buses,Ford don't own the Morris name although think they may have the Rover and Vanden Plas brands (not 100% on that)The Chinese likely own it with MG etc.Morris is an oil company that make all sorts of oils etc. they cater for classic vehicles making sae 40/50 etc. which Halfrauds likely don't sell Thanks for info Dave.
