I would say have a few SDs, best one for the summer and worst one for anytime but wash it often and spray it all over with Morris oil.

Not being funny or picky but as an ex-engineer, I never came across something called Morris Oil. Can you explain please?

I have a 250 engine stashed behind a chair in kitchen it is warm in there & if I leave the engine in shed it will get cold & alloy goes furry ! wife did know I put it there temporally (well over a year ago) she seems to have forgotten

Not being funny or picky but as an ex-engineer, I never came across something called Morris Oil. Can you explain please? It's for sale in Dublin in a spray tin like WD40, it's made in the UK. I prefer it than WD40 as it is more oily and stays on longer, also I think is less of penetrating oil and more of a protector oil than WD40. I like the brand as it reminds me of Morris Minor cars but I don't know if there is any connection with, I think Ford now owns British Leyland who owned the Morris brand name.

British Leyland as a group was broken up and sold to different companies years ago,Leyland exists as a brand in Asia/Africa making trucks and buses,Ford don't own the Morris name although think they may have the Rover and Vanden Plas brands (not 100% on that)The Chinese likely own it with MG etc.Morris is an oil company that make all sorts of oils etc. they cater for classic vehicles making sae 40/50 etc. which Halfrauds likely don't sell

The bike- or certainly the engine- looks like the later DOHC 750 mind? Some confusion here it's not the one of the older SOHC 750K's!
