The "wet blast" process was developed in Birmingham UK in 1940s,Abrasive Developments went bust in 1999.When I was an apprentice In 1969 was vapour blasting Stellite rings after they'd been in a deep freezer 24hrs to stress relieve before they were ground,the rings were seals that went on track of a Chieftain tank I guess those rings had to be fairly reliable
