Do people live long in your family, Ian?
The air in the IOM is good so I hear.

I agree.......but the thing that impressed me the most was the glove box lid.......minter than a mint thing on a mint day in Mintville.

I bet you've got enough nos under the bed to build a new bike round that lid

In all seriousness young FB - I would like to see a proper RESTORATION done on this bike.....as opposed to just throwing new or better parts at it.
I think it is the ideal candidate to show that a very good restoration can be achieved with these bikes WITHOUT forking out a fortune on NOS.
With Pauls new machine and your attention to detail, I am damn sure that you can produce a credible resto on this. OK - there will HAVE to be some new parts (silencers for instance and seals etc.), but I am certain that the rest can be brought back from the dead.
Go on - take the challenge!!!!

I've said on an earlier post that this one has to come apart - there is no other way. And I have my buddy here (that I've invested shares in) to help me do it:

Plugs took some getting out today........plus I've dîscovered a really strange looking breed of spider nesting behind the left hand side panel.

No sign of any cash Dave sadly. This one's a taker more than a giver I think.....but it's an SD so she's worth it.
