Came off my GS 500 this morning, b*gger.....
Lost the front and over I went, ended up under it. Broke the clutch lever, bent the footrest hanger and scuffed up the engine casing but that seems to be all the damage I can see. My left shoulder took the fall and my ribs are sore, I hope I don't stiffen up and can't ride at the weekend.
All this happened about 200 yards from home at about 15-20 mph.
Its a b* gger, I ride all year in all weathers and go and fall off on a dry road nearly on the doorstep.lol

Good to hear you are not too injured and very selfless to get yourself between the bike and the road to prevent too much damage ........

Oh dear- glad it wasn't too serious we don't bounce so well these days! And I like the way you are concerned about being fit for the weekend rather than the next 3 days of work!

I got this cb500 out to go to work on, got so far down the estate and heard a noise... The silencer link pipe had turned a bit and it has the centre stand stop on it the bleeding thing was rubbing on the chain, so back home a with that dumped it in the yard and ended up in the car.. What a morning.
I,m at work now and the shoulder is hurting like hell every time I lift my mug of tea;D ;D ;D

Sorry to hear about your wee accident Dave but at least there was no major damage to either you or the bike and it should get you a few sympathy pints at the weekend.
