I watch a program on tele the other night, a bloke cut up a petrol tank off one of these to use on a bobber. Criminal!

A chap in our Vmcc just paid £50,000 for one of these . Said the money in the bank was not making anything so invested in a bike.

What is the function of the flat bar (which looks like one side of a giant link of a chain) with rounded ends running at 45deg from the middle of the engine to the front-bottom of the engine. It looks mechanically cool (what ever it is), I'm thinking of fitting one to my SD.
