What is the function of the flat bar (which looks like one side of a giant link of a chain) with rounded ends running at 45deg from the middle of the engine to the front-bottom of the engine. It looks mechanically cool (what ever it is), I'm thinking of fitting one to my SD. The magneto is at the front of the engine, and its a chain (I think) under the cover running 45 deg. That makes sense, thanks for info. |
