Yeah Chill. It was a pop at some of the people that are out there making a fast buck on tat. Daz was only joking..... Call it a stab at society.

I am many things,some good some not,but ripping off an ordinary working bloke the same as myself isn't something I would do.I bid £ for the 2 x collectors,plus £?? fuel to fetch them making them £?? each,kept one sold one for what it cost plus the cost of postage and packing used to make sure it arrives undamaged,if for any reason the member who has bought it from me is in any way unhappy I would return all his money and even pay the return post,I am not short or in need of the money paid by the buyer. Anyway rant over,apologies if I got the wrong end of the stick, today has been ............... start on the carbs day,photos to follow

It's like me.....when I offer stuff for sale I want a lot of dollar for it.
But the thing with me is that I know it's worth it. I do not sell crap but unfortunately sometime people see it as a rip off - but these people are out of touch. If I cannot get what I believe a part is worth I will keep it.
Don't worry about it Andy. - Rich is a good guy and meant no harm. He is always in support of the underdog and the working man.
Nothing wrong in that - I'm glad we can have these wonderful discussions.

discussiion is always good. i think any thing is only worth what someone wants to pay for it,the more you want or need it or the harder it is to find the more you have to pay. CAPITALISM is a wonderful thing !
anyway on a lighter note my carbs are full of shite !

Agreed.
How will you tackle the carbs?
Are they the original set off your deluxe? If so I'm not surprised they are full of gunk......
Probably got half the corroded fuel tank in there.
Out of interest could you give me the serial number off the side of them?

don't you just love the part of your brain that looks at things and tells you ;
you can fix that and make it work !!!
i think the psychological term is optimism....or is it delusion ?
