Is it a Ford Corsair - mate of mine had a Crayford drop top back in the seventies. Be worth a mint now, or more likely a pile of rust dust

This is a Ford Consul Corsair. It was build in 1963 at the Dagenham factory. It is'nt a car you'll see very often. The same engine block was used to build the Lotus Cortina. so yes, you are correct ian.
