Well done on taking the plunge! We will of course expect an in depth appraisal including photographs I expect it will be up to scratch and that Silvers will have to make some more. The price is good and many of us will need a "Spare" . I'm just pleased he's had them made as finding a good original is getting ever harder, I don't think that it's "pattern" status will matter because the alternative is so awful (IMHO) that it's the only credible replacement and will transform the appearance of any SD. Good work Mr Silver..

Good work Mr Silver.. That fine Ian before I fit it I will take some close up pictures and then people can see how close it is to original , the pictures on silvers website are not very clear so fingers crossed its a good patten part not like the alternative as the only good thing about that pattern part mudguard is it is very strong

The fact that it's strong Richard is part of the problem, they go on looking hideous for years. Lol.. More and more SD owners will have to fit replacement muddys as time goes by, I intend to use it as my rider mudguard and keep the original for its Sunday best! . However good or bad the Silvers one is, it certainly has the SD "look" so any fit and finish issues can be easily forgiven.. I intend to order one very shortly.

That looks amazing, really impressed, I have a new pattern front muddy waiting to be fitted but unfortunately is the ugly pattern style.
Shall I order one of these, I'm tempted, but only if I can do it without Mrs Fordy finding out!!

Does it have a ripple down the middle of it?
The chrome doesn't look as deep as Nicks.
Gee.

Yes it is not as nice as the real deal now I've seen photo of a NOS one ( thanks Nick ) & it does have a slight ripple right along the centre from front to back , not sure why it's made like that but it is still a million times nicer than the cheaper front mudguard silvers say
