Well after purchasing my first superdream a couple of weeks ago for restoration and then finding out it was beyond economic restoration , and the engine needing a top end rebuild I gave up on it and started to look for another ,I was interested in a couple on ebay but then this one came up and I knew instantly I wanted it Some of you may know the bike as it was a forum members Bike (althiugh he didnt own it long) It is the bike that is the NA Model that was registered in 1984 , it is a genuine 1980 NA model but for some reason or another it was registered in 84 , I know it is not a genuine NA colour and the original colour is red , but I love it in blue and wouldnt have bought it if it had still been red Once I get the logbook in my name I will contact DVLA and request past owners history and try and get to the bottom of the late registration I have spent most of the day giving it a good clean , first by soaking it in Jizer then a good jet wash then a good wash and polish (New rear indicators arriving this week) Anyway a few pics

I love the colour. Decals would improve the bike massively. You got a nice buy there matey.

looks a very nice example, Its is all quite original (apart from the paint , obviously) It just needed a really good degreasing and a good clean Unsure what decals to go for though , I like the fading N model decals , but I also like the look of the ones you have on the bike in your Avatar pic

When you say correct decals for these bikes , do you mean for a blue NA or a blue N Do you have any bigger pics of your bike?

Hi Gaz....
Strange how your bike is an 83/84 reg plate but it's a CB400NA.
What's the first three numbers of the VIN?
Yes I can advise you on decals....if you need any pictures of any specific decals uploading then let us know.

It's difficult at the minute, Jon....
If you want them to look 100% factory then at present it is hard.
When I have more time in August and finish my work placement year, I'm hoping to invest some serious time into getting a lot of genuine decals I have somehow reproduced.
I'll keep you posted, of course.

210 = def NA.
The plot thickens.......
Would this bike have sat at a dealers for a few years before being registered? I guess anything is possible.
What is the actual registration date?
