Hi All,
Thank you for accepting my request to join. I’m new into Honda Superdreams and to be honest I never really liked Japanese bikes....until I saw an advert recently for a 42 year old CB400N, and it was love for the first sight 🤪 Now she’s in my garage. The previous owner just stored her as one of his many bikes and could be better cared for but hopefully a bit of love (and elbow grease) will keep her running...
I’m sure, I will have lots of questions to ask (at least at the beginning) and hopefully I gain more experience with the bike and I will be able to share what I learned...

Got to ask where the Dickens did one come up with the notion of calling oneself battlegoat ? Come ither and indulge oneself in like-minded folks experience with joy and merryment

LoL, I just thought the name “Battlegoat” is funny and quite unusual. Photos of the bike will follow soon, but currently I’m a bit busy with work as I have to cover colleagues on self isolation. Hopefully next week I will have a bit more time. Until then😉:

As promised, here is the photo of her. Modified to “cafe racer” style by one of the previous owners (Someone might recognise their work here??? 🙂), a bit rough finish, gives her a post apocalyptic look. She needs some love, but sounds okay, runs okay. Starts first kick hot or cold and no suspicious noises from the engine. Luckily the frame has not been chopped, so return it to standard not a very big issue (apart from finding parts) I’m sure that I will have lot of fun with her ( and maybe enrich my vocabulary with a few “f” new words 😂😂😂😂)  |
