It was an expensive day at EvoMoto today, as well as finding some unexpected problems on my 250 engine, we ended up buying a new toy for Gill   She's had her eye on it for a while, but Dave was reluctant to sell. He finally succumbed today, so we should have it home by weekend. It's taxed & running, in tidy order, so she'll be able to ride it as soon as we get some decent weather and with any luck she'll be on it for the Derbyshire trip in May.  |

Was talking over Christmas that I needed to get rid of a bike as not enough room
Said think I'll sell the BSA
Daughter responded
You can't do that you promised it to me when I passed my test
It would be the last bike I would ever sell and although I will be delighted when she passes test (only 14) it will break my heart to hand over the log book which includes the original 1959 hand written one
Bikes have spirit and are family members not possessions
