Anyone considering buying an old Brit single don't believe all rubbish about Velos being hard to start/maintain etc. far superior to BSA,AJS etc.a 350 MAC is a good start and the ultimate being the 500 Thruxton ATT00014I love Velos wish I hadn't sold mine  |

Would love to get my hands on one.
BTW Dave - yer man Crouchy DID actually say it was Velocette a little earlier.......

My old man had a 500 Venom when I was born...... Would love to get my hands on one. BTW Dave - yer man Crouchy DID actually say it was Velocette a little earlier....... Blimey that's not an easy one,reckon it's something you saw at Stafford at weekend,small Jap bike grey import that's all I would say.

One of my bikes is a yamaha XS650( a non runner) and a speedo/tacho for early one of these is very similar to this but that red light at top with Japanese words would dismiss this as didn't Japan have a limit on capacity of home market bikes? Could be a smaller XS maybe
