Brough Superior was name of the company run by George Brough and just Brough was his fathers company,the ultimate Dream model was painted gold and was named the Golden Dream,company didn't survive the war I wonder how many Dreams are left? Has anyone ever seen one I guess there will be one in Birmingham museum.

It was in 1949 when an employee saw the first proper motorcycle ,a 98cc two stroke that Honda made, ridden our of the factory, he said its like a dream and the name was adopted for the bike, which was officially called the model D.
Another version says it was named by Soichiro Honda, he called it the dream because it fulfilled his dream of building a proper motorcycle
