Looking good, certainly very shiny! It would be good to see a pic with the rest of the bike visible to see how the colour scheme fits with the tank paintwork. Also, how did you sort the rubber thingy around the headlamp - it looks as if there is something there but yours was missing.

Thanks for the positive comments The missing rubber grommet/shroud was a problem because the gap around the headlamp did look a bit odd, luckily I had some wide heavy duty black vinyl duct tape so stuck it back to back but leaving a band of the adhesive showing to produce a sort of black plastic ribbon and stuck it around the aperture. To be honest it was a plg to do, even though I used to watch Blue Peter it still took me several goes and then ended up running a bead of superglue along the edge of the tape to try and stop it lifting, don't think it would last if the bike was used regularly in winter. The shinyness, laquer then leave it a couple of weeks and "T cut" of your choice (I use autoglym paint renovator) also very fine wet and dry first if need be to remove marks/orange peel. Oh and the fine wet & dry and T cut applies to the screen as well! The hycote laquer is very soft even when fully cured and completely NOT resistant to petrol so only of limited use but you can get a very good cosmetic finish at home with it.

ps Don't know if I mentioned this before the bike is sprayed in Peugeot Diabalo Red.

.... even though I used to watch Blue Peter it still took me several goes .... Blue Peter would have used sticky-backed plastic, an old washing-up liquid bottle (they were round in those days) and probably a jar of Copydex with the label blanked out! And I don't know how many goes it would have taken Mr Noakes .... Fairing looks good on the bike though.
