On silver bikes they needed to be factory standard really - it is a job holding onto the beasts over 145.

You guys may scoff......but I swear that one sunny afternoon back in 2013 on the A46 near to Segdeberrow, I nearly 'took off' whilst riding one of my silver SD's. As I was about to get airborne I had to slow down for some temporary lights.

I don't think I did as it was not requested by the OP in the end, BP. Did you get lucky finding one of these today? Need to find the instructions and copy them for you if you'd like.

Just to complete the story, here is my fairing having been painted and awaiting fitment .... ... and here it is on the bike. Hope the image sizes are OK! I did find a guy in Germany who has had replacement screens made up - apparently these fairings were a common fitment for the CX500 - but at 110 Euros delivered to the UK I decided to stick with the one I had! It was much improved with a good polish although I decided not to risk trying to remove the HOC badge that is stuck on. Oh, and I'm afraid I didn't like the Invader fairing when it hit the market and I still don't. Sorry. I don't suppose anybody knows the german contact that this guest member is mentioning
