Maybe this is planet Zorg...
And kind of how you'd imagine a sunday classic bike and car show to be like if you'd had a few too many narcotics.

What was it like to drive a Reliant (three wheeler)?.....a lot of you probably did it because you had a bike licence back in day and you could 'drive' one with this.
It is something I have always wanted to do. I know you had to avoid the poor hedgehogs that were aiming for your twin lights in order not to get splatted etc.....but was it sometimes a bit unstable Mable?

They were a lot unstable Nick I've had 5 of them 3 I used the other 2 were for spares I remember coming home from Skeggy and coming across one of Lincolnshires famous 90 degree bends ,I had to skip around the corner as I was going too fast steer into the bend untill a rear wheel left the ground then straighten up to put the wheel down then steer into the corner again till I raised the wheel then straighten up again .I had to do this half a dozen times in not a lot of road but I got round the corner ok but the wife went ballistic at me as I'd scared the sh*t out of her (and myself) .My mate managed to roll his on a straight road he was ok but the pig was smashed to bits .I've no desire for another one I can tell you

Anyone remember the bond minicar? Made from about 1949_early 70s.my mother had on in the late 50s, 3 speed 197cc Villiers 9e engine. I briefly had one in '72 , it had a 325 cc Villiers twin in it. b#gger would never start. My mate had a bond bug, thought he was Gods gift to women in it. lol

I think reliant ended up owning the company, and the bug was made under their ownership.
