Way back, the lad next door had a Bond - used to open the bonnet, stick his leg in & kickstart it! I never had a Reliant, but I did have a Berkeley T60. Two wheels at the front & one at the back, so more stable than a Reliant, plus it was light enough to push home when I ran out of petrol!

My mother's had a handle inside that you yanked on to start it if I remember right. They back axle was quite wide on them and I found them to be pretty stable, they were very manoeuvrable, you could spin em in there own length.

After failing my car test a couple of times I seriously thought of getting a three wheeler and driving on my bike licence, but what ever street cred I had stopped me, I just couldn't do it.
I do love to see them on the road and would love to drive one to see what it is like.

I remember one of my mates had a reliant, used to frighten me to death, bluddy thing always felt as though it was on the point of rolling over on corners, but he was a crazy s#d so in saferhands they were maybe OK.;D

No they are fine if driven slowly but do not expect to throw it around, you can't.

I think they handle better as a 2 wheels in front and one behind configuration. They are not for me anymore.

I've watched the old Morgan 3 wheelers race at Cadwell park and they really chuck them around ,passenger is required to hang over the side on corners though
