If you want value for money then perhaps Heidenau are the way to go. They have a vintage pattern as well.
Metzeler if you have bit more money to spend.
I have a 3.00 X 19 Heidenau on the front of my 1979 CB250N and it works well.

Mag Mopus were the original factory fitted tyres, I know...they were on my 1400 mile 400n when I bought it last January. The rubber had become very hard, no grip and I nearly came a cropper before I realised how old the tyres were. I don't cane the bike and I only do about 800 miles a year so I figured why buy top end expensive tyres? I did a lot of research and bought a pair of Maxxis Hi-Max from M&P Direct, front 100/90H19, rear 110/90H18. Cost around £95 the pair delivered and good reviews. They're tubeless, so you'll need to fit new tubes, five quid each. They fit perfectly and look good, I've had no problems in the last 700 miles or so...well pleased. Here's the link for M&P, M&P also sell them on Ebay. www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo.aspx?catref=526156&tier1url=Tyres&tier2url=Road-Tyres&tier3url=Maxxis&tier4url=C906-C907-Hi-Max

I'd guess you won't be getting your knee down or riding a lot in wet so I'd go with what others reccomend,Bridgestone BT45's are a great tyre but bit more dosh

The dreaded Yokohama my mates 1969 CB250 had them on when I had a go on it in rain, scary indeed(way back in 1972).

Dunlop K81 TT100's are another option for you maybe? I've got those on my 450dx. I plan to change to a set of BT45's though as the rear K81's don't last long (4,000 miles or so) and my front tyre seems to have perished quicker than it should (though I didn't have that problem with the rears I've got through, so I suspect I just got a duff one).

I also run Mitas on the rear, get 6-7000 miles out of it. Got a Michelin on the front at the mo as that was an ebay bargain, prob go for Mitas once that runs out. they are great value and grip well even in the wet.

Just heard a tyre supplier up in the North East say that Metzeler Perfects are possibly on their way out - he can't get anymore of the 3.60 19.....that's a shame.

I measured up a 90/90 Metzeler Perfect and it is just about identical to the old 3.60? Identical tread, but a shame to lose the period markings though.....
