Taking a few bits off the bike to give a quick paint and clean up i noticed this on the floor , i didnt see where it came from but its got to be around footpeg/rear brake lever area and how the hell does it go back on

It's an odd bit of design but a very necessary part that often causes a bit of head scratching !

Yes, it's an odd part that every time I see it I have to identify it's orientation and fitment.
The previous Dream did not have it or need it. Because Honda moved the footrests back on the SuperDreams, they had to quickly re-design the brake pedal and footrest positions. I think this bracket was a bit of a bodge to get the SD's out of the factory.....
